ROBERT J. WILLIAMS Robert J. Williams, age 65, a former resident of McLean, NY, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009, at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY after a lengthy illness. Bob was a 1961 graduate of Dryden High School. He served in the US Army before being employed by NYS DOT in Syracuse as an engineering aide. Survivors include his siblings, Thomas (Margaret) Williams, Mary McGee, Deborah (Ronald Bailer) Williams, all of Cortland, and Jean (Dale) Cotterill of Dryden; several nieces, nephews and cousins; an uncle, Samuel Sloan of Midlothian, IL; an aunt, Joan (Sam) Ferro of Cortland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at the Perkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Groton Rural Cemetery, Groton, NY. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden.
