Robert Jefferson "Bob" Johnson, 80, Summerville, S.C., died Saturday, July 21, 2001. Visitation was Tuesday evening at Colbert Memorial Chapel.A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery, with Masonic Rites.Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. William Uhlman.He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Johnson of Summerville, S.C.; son, Robert Jefferson Johnson Jr.; daughter, Martha Ann Ingalls of Summerville, S.C.; sister, Mildred Inez Box, Sheffield, Ala.; grandchildren, David Andrew Ingalls, Charlottesville, Va.He was preceded in death by his brother, John D. Box 96074, Washington, D.C. 20090-6074.He was born Feb. 25, 1921, a son of the late Robert Lee Johnson and Minnie Lee Bynum Johnson. He was a graduate of Ninety-Six High School, Ninety-Six, S.C. He was a graduate of Dunwoodie Institute, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 43, Leighton, Ala. He was a 50-year member of the Beni Kedem Shrine in Charleston, W.Va.Pallbearers will be Ralph Smallwood, Mylam Smallwood, William Davis Sockwell, Bill Reed, Mose Hunter, Lee Dunn and Leslie Jeffreys.Colbert Memorial Chapel is directing.
