Robert J. Finn TROY - Robert J. Finn 84 of Troy passed into eternal rest on Wednesday evening with his loving family at his side. Bob was born in Watervliet and was the son of the late John and Gertrude Matthews Finn and loving husband of Santa Laiacona Finn of Troy ,they had been married since 1955. . Bob had worked at Arcy Plastics for 35 years .He served his country in the US Navy from 1951-1953 during the Korean Conflict . He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Troy where he loved doing volunteer work .Bob was also an officer and member of the AOH in Troy for many years. In addition to his wife Santa , Bob is also survived by his children Susan Finn ,Christine Finn- Gray ,Joanne ( Bradley ) Dietz , Robert ( Mere Louise ) Finn, James ( Catherine ) Finn and Kathleen ( Raymond ) Wilson .He enjoyed his by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his brother Tom Tansey and was pre- deceased by his sister Carol , brothers Jack ,Paul Ron and Bill The funeral service for Bob will be held on Monday morning at 9 am at The Wm. Leahy Funeral home 336 Third St. Troy and at 9:30 am at St. Joseph's Church in Troy where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-6PM.
