HAMMOND, Robert, 85, died December 17, 2006 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville, Fla. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa and moved to Florida in 1967 from North Carolin. He was a builder for C Sterling Quality Roofing from 1992-2000 in Hernando Beach, Fla. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Denise Hammond of Spring Hill, Fla.; his daughters, Lori Turchiaro of Lecanto, Fla. and Michelle Dillow of Spring Hill; his brother, Duane Hammond and his wife, Virginia, of Springfield, Ore. and three grandchildren.
