Robert H. Morin, 67, Rotonda West, died May 6, 2006. He was a summer resident of Chebeague Island, Maine, and formerly of Loudon, N.H., before moving to Florida upon his retirement. He was a service technician with Sears in Concord, N.H., for 35 years. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2710 of Rotonda West, and was on the board of directors of the Great Chebeague Golf Course and the Rotonda Fiesta Club. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Jane; sons R. Jeffrey of Essex Junction, Vt., and John of Cambridge, Mass.; daughters Kathy Simpson of Littleton, Mass., and Diana of Concord, N.H.; a sister, Cecile Wiley of Gilford, N.H.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at the convenience of the family. National Cremation Society, Port Charlotte chapter, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238; or to a cancer research organization of the donor's choice.
