ELLIOTT, Robert Gary1951 - 2011It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Gary Elliott on September 25, 2011.Gary spent his final days at home surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Gary will be greatly missed by his wife Nancy, lovingly remembered by his children Dawn (Anthony), Mark and Quennie (Richard) and was a devoted granddad to Chaz, Devon and Aidan. Gary will also be greatly missed by his sister Susan (Neil), niece Rachel, nephew Peter and close friends. Gary will be remembered for his passions in life such as travel, golf, bowling, his fighting spirit, strong work ethic and determination.The family will receive condolences on Friday, September 30th, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre- Dame, Lachine, H8S 2G5, 514-639-1511. Funeral services to follow at 4:00 p.m.The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to all those involved in Gary's care, special thanks to the Oncology Team at the Jewish General Hospital who cared for Gary with kindness and compassion.
