Robert G. Owens, 49, died Aug. 12, 2010, in Fort Pierce. He was born in Montgomery, Pa., and lived in Fort Pierce for 13 years. He worked as an asbestos stripper. He was a member of the American Legion, Fort Pierce. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Owens of Fort Pierce; and daughters, Erica Sanchez of Colorado and Savanna Duffy of Vero Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Roseanne Duffy; and 12 brothers and sisters.
