Robert Fulton Williams, age 75, of Mary Esther, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, after a lengthy illness. He was born on Jan. 8, 1934, in Athens, Ala., to the late Jepsie and Evie Williams. Robert retired from the U.S. Air Force as a master sergeant with 22 years and nine months of service. He worked for Ver Val Industries for 10 years and also had a great love for horses. He is survived by two sons, David W. Williams and his wife Patricia of Pensacola, Fla., and Robert F. Williams Jr. of Mary Esther; four grandchildren, Joshua Williams and Lance Cpl. Larry J. Williams of Pensacola, Jared M. and Robert B. Williams of Mary Esther; and one-great-grandchild, Kameron J. Williams. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road N.E., Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Byron Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., with full military honors.
