LEE, Robert Frederick, 87, of Clearwater, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at Mease Hospital. Robert was a native of Pontiac, Mich., and moved to this area in 1961 from Barksdale, La., where he retired as senior master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was Methodist, and a veteran of World War II and the Korean era. Robert was past president and district president of G.Y.R.O. International and the Air Force Sergeants Association. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ethyle; son, Robert E. Lee, Clermont; daughter, Susan L. Fletcher, Cosby, Tenn.; sister, Barbara Connole, Marietta, Ga.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast or the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Largo.
