NORTHPORT Robert Fred Coley, age 75, of Northport, died Oct. 12, 2008, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Christine Campbell Coley of Northport; daughter, Delisa McDaniel of Warrior; sons, Darrell McDaniel and Douglas McDaniel of Samantha; stepsons, Harold Callahan and Douglas Callahan of Picayune, Miss.; brother, Arnold Coley of Akron; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and received a National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and two United Nations Service Medals. He was retired from the Iron Workers Local #92, and he was a member of the J. Collier Foster Masonic Lodge #906.Pallbearers will be members of J. Collier Foster Masonic Lodge #906.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Douglas Reynolds, M.D., friends and neighbors of Springfield Ave., and Burger King Coffee Buddies.
