Robert F. White, 93, died March 23, 2009, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for three years, coming from Melbourne. He attained the rank of commander in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was president of South Brevard Ostomy Association in Melbourne. Survivors include his son, Kevin White of New Smyrna Beach; daughter, Anne Clement of Vero Beach; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A service will be at 10 a.m. March 28 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach with Chaplain Richard Flick officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3918, Vero Beach. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
