Mr. Lee was a member of the First Baptist Church Pinellas Park. He retired after 27 years of service as the Warden of the St. Petersburg Jail, and was a Mason. He was a Purple Heart recipient where he served honorably in the U.S. Army, WWII. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Nellie Mae Lee; sisters, Sarah Widdo-wson, Jean Harvell, Elizabeth Palmer, Katie Scheid, Violet Stokes, Carol Lewellen, and Judy Osburn; brothers, Thom-my Lee, John Lee, and Roger Lee; predeceased by brothers, Arthur M. Lee and Fudge Lee. Guests will be received Saturday at 1 pm, at Gee & Sorensen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10 am, Monday, Sept. 22, at the First Baptist Church Pinellas Park. Interment will follow to Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Gee & Sorensen Funeral Home.
