Robert F. Jackson, 79, of Jupiter, former resident of Weymouth, Mass., passed away May 10, 2011. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War attaining rank of corporal. Robert worked at the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Massachusetts, retiring as a State Trooper after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Weymouth Elks Lodge 2232, a former member of the Braintree Yacht Club and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War. Robert loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed attending all of their sporting events. He was a proud coach of his sons baseball games. He loved to have a good time. As such, Robert had many memorable times with his friends and acquaintances. He will be truly missed. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie, of 46 years; son, Bill and his wife Robyn; grandchildren, Branden, Brooke, Brady and Bryce; his sisters, Shirley Lentz, Beverly McGuire and Muriel Campbell. He was predeceased by brothers, Ralph and Harold. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 12, from 6-8 p.m. with services to start at 7 p.m., Aycock Funeral Home, Jupiter. Burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Roberts name to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
