ObituaryBob was born in Fort Myers, FL and passed away peacefully on Aug. 28, 2009. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and served from 1959 to 1963. After serving his country, Bob became a volunteer policeman in California then moved on to work for Sears Roebuck & Co until his retirement in 2000. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting in his free time.Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria Johnson; son William Michael (Candi) Johnson; daughter Jennifer M. Johnson; mother Jean Nichols; sister Cheryl (Allen) Sells and several nephews. He is pre-deceased by his son Robert C. Johnson and daughter Glory Ann Johnson.A funeral service will take place on Thursday September 3, 2009 at the Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL beginning at 1:00 pm.
