He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Mattie Elliott, brother Bill Elliott and his previous wife Louise Brooks Elliott. He is survived by his wife Astarsia "Star" Elliott, sons Ron "Frog" (Debbie) and Robert "Bo" Elliott, sister Pat (Tom) Bailey. He is also survived by grandchildren Brandon (Rachel), Amanda, Bobby Elliott, Cassie (Garrett) Gamble. Step children Amy (Steve) McDougal and Eric (Brooke) Stinson. Step grandchildren Emma, Sadie and Sam Stinson. He was a member of Clay Baptist Church and retired from Cemex with over 20 years of service. Funeral service will be Saturday April 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening April 25, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM.
