Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 PM Thursday December 29, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 Noon to 3 PM at Darby Funeral Home. Survivors include wife, Joan Elliott of Weaverville; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linnea Elliott of Lounden, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Bill Twibble of South Hero, Vt.; step daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Ed Cipriani of Canton, Ga., Cindy and David Brunson of Sarasota, Fla.; sisters, Chessie Cornett of Tennessee, Carrie McCurry of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
