ConrailHAINES CITY -- Mr. Robert Charles Elliott of Haines City died of heart failure Friday (March 26, 2004) at Heart of Florida Hospital. He was 70.Born March 31, 1933, in Lansing, Mich., he came here from Plymouth, Mich. in 1993. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He was an office manager for Conrail. He attended First United Methodist Church of Lake Alfred. He was a member of the Railroad Clerks Union.Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Alma E. Elliott; sisters, Charlene Goff, Southfield, Mich., Ruth Lewis, Munising, Mich.; son, Carl N. Elliott, Miami; and one grandchild. Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
