Obituary of Robert-E. Lee


Robert E. Lee, 86, of Sevierville TN, passed away peacefully Jan. 13, 2014 at home with his two loving daughters Lana & Tina by his side. Robert born Sept. 29,1927 to Vincent & Florence Lee; raised in National Park with 11 bothers and sisters. As a child in the "Great Depression" he helped his family by selling apples & rhubarb. Robert joined the Coastguard at age 17. Afterwards he married his beautiful wife Virginia & raised their five children in Woodstown NJ. He was passionate about his work, respected & known as "Bob the Barber". Everyone enjoyed his stories & sense of humor. He was friendly & fun-loving to all he met & had a special bond with children. After retiring he moved to Tn., with his Daughter Tina & family. He will be greatly loved & missed by all, especially his surviving family; his children: George, Lana, Richard, Robin, & Tina; Surviving brothers & sisters: Jimmy, Harry, Francis, Janet, & Peggy, plus many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. A special "thank you" to the U.T. Hospice in Knoxville TN for all their care. John 14: Verse 6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the Father, but by me". We love you Daddy!
