Lee, Robert E. Jan. 21, 1920 - Feb. 2, 2009Robert E. Lee, 89, Venice, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, died Feb. 2, 2009.Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Ewing Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Ewing Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Joan; stepson Robert and stepdaughter Gayle, both of Florida; daughter Diana of Florida; sons Thomas of California and Scott of Ohio; sister Marilyn Weaver of Ohio; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.He and Joan made a donation in 2004 to the Robert and Joan Lee Boys & Girls Club of Venice. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton for 30 years before retiring in 1974.
