ROBERT EDWARD LEE SCHERERVILLE, IN Robert E. Lee, of Schererville, IN, passed away peacefully at the Riley Hospice of Munster, December 18, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Robert was born June 17, 1942 in Alabama to Sherman and Eunice Lee. His father preceded in death. His mother and stepfather, Eunice and Earl Frostick survives. Survivors also include his daughters, Anita Lewis, Pam (Tyler) Hurn, and Lori Parlinac. Also surviving is his wife Donna Lee and their sons, Tim (Tina) Lee, Terry Lee, Ted Lee; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Mary (JR.) Dunn, Bill (Jan) Lee, Faye (Jerry) Mosley, Nancy Newsom, Mike (Judy) Lee, and Lisa Barksdale. Robert worked for many years at Bea Chemical in Lansing then Kaiser Aluminum in Dolton until his retirement. Mr. Lee was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and loved to watch his grandchildren dirtbike race, but he was an avid fan of all types of racing. He was meticulous about his landscaping and grounds at his home. He taught his children by example, showing pride in jobs being done right the first time. Funeral services will be Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave. Schererville, IN 46375) with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
