HYDE PARK - Robert E. Lee,  age 96, a long-time resident of Hyde Park, died January 28th, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.Born in 1918 in South Boston, MA. Son of John and Margaret (Cahill) Lee.Beloved husband of the late Rosann (Creegan) Lee. Father of Anne Burgess of Winchester, MA, Roberta Lee LaBarbera of South Deerfield, MA and the late Joan Caraccio. Grandfather of John & Steven Burgess, Anne & Robert Caraccio and Elaine & Christopher LaBarbera. Great Grandfather to Olivia Joan Burgess. Served in US Army in the European theater of WWII. Worked as Budget Analyst for the Veteran's Administration for 45 years and upon his retirement he was a Tax Associate at H&R Block for many years.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made in Robert's name to the Loomis House Employee Fund, Loomis House, 298 Jarvis Ave, Holyoke, MA 01040, in appreciation for their many years of wonderful care for Robert and Rosann.
