Robert Edward Cooley, age 54, of Florence, Ala., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008. A memorial service was Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church, of Sheffield.Mr. Cooley was veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed with E.S. Robbins Co. He was preceded in death by his father, William Edward Cooley, and his sister, Rebecca Lynn Cooley.He is survived by his wife, Judy Cooley; mother, Lorene Cooley Thomas; stepfather, Edward Thomas; daughters, Angel "Boo Boo" and Bridget Cooley; stepsons, Gary (Michelle), Jason (Ashley) Cox; brothers, Randy (Debbie), Roger (Jill) and Tony (Martha) Cooley; stepbrothers and sisters, Debbie (Phillip) Hayes, Shelia Moore, Sandi Frederick, Mickey (Theresa) Thomas; grandchildren, Alex Pace, Matthew, Daniel, Elizabeth, Ottis, Gary and Chalie Cox.Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia, is directing.
