Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church for Robert Davis, 47, Gadsden, who died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010. The Rev. Byron Woods will officiate. Burial will be in Rainbow Memorial Park. Adams-Buggs Funeral Service directing.He is survived by his mother, Ethel Davis; sisters, Roberta Davis, Mary Alice Clay, Katina Davis, Rita Davis, Debra Allen (Hubert), Gloria Davidson (Larry), Jacqueline Smith (Thomas); brothers, Melvin Davis (Doris), Bobby Davis, Danny Davis (Loretta), Bruce Davis, (Laconda); uncle, Major Mims; aunts, Rosie Rice, Ethel Wilson and Essie Mims; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the services.
