Robert Garland Davis, 21, of 1191 Bracken Road, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001. Born in Greenville County, hewas a son of Bobby H. and Carol (Ginny) Roberts Davis of Piedmont. He was vice-president of Davis Exterminating and a member of Augusta Road United Methodist Church. Robert was an avid and proficient hunter and fisherman. He taught his father many of his hunting skills with laughter and joy. Surviving are his parents; a brother, Jeramie Davis of Greenville; and maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Beawayne Roberts of Piedmont. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Washington Baptist Church by Dr. Michael Wolfe and the Rev. Steve Gillespie. Honorary pallbearers will be the Woodmont High School football team class of 1999. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of his parents, 1199 Bracken Road, Piedmont, and will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Monday at the church prior to the service.
