Robert David Johnson, 49, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at Boswell Memorial Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.Robert was born and raised in St. Augustine and graduated from St. Augustine High School. He was a member of Trinity Chapel, which is now Destiny Church International. He worked as a St. Johns County Sheriff's deputy for nine years.For the past six years, Robert resided in Phoenix, Ariz., where he was a commercial pilot and owned and operated an aircraft sales operation.He is survived by his wife, Laura; children, Michael, Heather, Daniel, Ashley, David, Aaron and Mark; parents, David and Jean Johnson; sisters, Sherry (Ollie) Follweiler and Kathy (Norman) Rudin.Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. with services following at Destiny Church International, 1485 U.S. 1 S., St. Augustine. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery.
