Robert D. Fellows, age 77, of Halfmoon, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born on March 18, 1932 in Halfmoon, he was the son of the late Marvin and Nora (Bruno) Fellows, and husband of the late Lorraine N. Fellows. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Robert was employed by Lucent Technologies in the phone repair business for 40 years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Elks Club of Mechanicville. He is survived by his sons, Daniel P. Fellows, David M. Fellows; his daughters, Robin C. (John) Ryan, Susan M. (William) Flavin, Karen J. Fellows; brother, Meredith Fellows; and sisters, Freda Werner and Doris McKeron. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Rte. 9, Clifton Park. A funeral service will be Friday, 10 a.m. in the funeral home with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterford.
