October 20, 2009 Robert D. Brennan, 51, of Clay, passed away October 20, 2009 after his battle with lung cancer. He served in the U.S. Navy on board the USS Mars. He was an employee of Monroe Muffler and Brake for 20 years. He enjoyed working on computers, his comic books, and Mickey Mouse collection. He was predeceased by his mother, Karen Brennan; and his paternal father, James Galles. Robert will be greatly missed by family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife of 21 years; Angela; his three children, Martin, Tonya and Kenneth; his father, Martin Brennan of Wichita, KS; two sisters, Carole Rice of Camillus and Ann Lougee of Star Lake. Services will be Saturday, 9 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brennan Children's Scholarship Fund at Citizen's Bank.
