Robert C. Johnson, 78, of Somerset died on Oct. 20, 2010. The funeral service is Monday at 11 a.m. at Messiah Baptist Church, 13 Oak St., East Orange. Interment is at Rosedale Cemetery, Orange. Visitation is at Cotton Funeral Service, 130 Main St., Orange, on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. Robert was the beloved husband of Shirley M. Johnson; dear brother of Eldridge (Muriel) Johnson, and cherished surrogate father and grandfather of Jodi Byers and Sharon Hammond, and their families. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
