Cross Creek High School Teacher AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, October 29, 2003, Mr. Robert C. Johnson PhD, husband of Mrs. Pauline Pittman Johnson, of 3607 Chesterfield Dr., Augusta. Surviving along with his wife is his mother, Onieta Johnson; three children, John Robinson, Janet Toole and Bill Johnson; and ten grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was an ordained Baptist minister and he attended Saluda River Bible Hour. He retired from the U.S. Navy and was a math teacher at Cross Creek High School. The family said, 'He loved his students and his profession'. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Walter Youngblood, Gene Brown and Jerry Berry officiating.
