JACKSON, ROBERT C. Robert C. Jackson, a resident of the Bronx for five years and a prior resident of New Rochelle for many years, departed this life Sunday, June 12, 2005. Born January 21, 1921 in St. Petersburg, FL and graduated the public schools of Albany, GA. Served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII, he completed Custom Tailoring School in NYC and was employed as a Tailor for many years. Married to the former Emma Moyer, who survives. He was a member of Shilor Baptist Church, New Rochelle, formerly a Trustee and member of the senior choir. Surviving, along with his wife Emma, are a cousin Eunice Pierce and others. Visiting Thursday, June 16, 2005, 9 am to10 am at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 185 Lincoln Avenue. Funeral, 10 am, also at the church. Interment, V.A. Calverton National Cemetery.
