LEE Robert Anthony Tony Lee, 50 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 in an automobile accident. Tony was a lifelong resident of Green Cove Springs, and a standout football and baseball player at Clay High School and graduated in the class of 1982. He was a friend to all, never met a stranger and loved to fish in the St. John's River. His side by side companion Henry, his dog, also died in the accident. Tony was a member of the Russell Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Robert Alexander Lee and is survived by his mother, Ruth Lee, two sisters, Joan (Jimmy) Weeks and Robyn (Ervin) McCarty, nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Maggie, Ryan, Chad and Jaime, great nieces, Ava, Eden and Ella, many cousins and other relatives. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Russell Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Heritage Section of Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 -2:00 PM Wednesday prior to services.
