WHYTE, Robert Alexander. Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on October 21, 2008 at the age of seventy-one years, his courage and strength will always be an inspiration. Surrounded by his family he leaves to mourn Beverley McLauchlan his beloved wife of fifty years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Robert Jr, Donna, Rod (Angie Baddeley) and his pride and joy his granddaughter Melissa, his sister Mary Green and his sister-in-law Helen. Predeceased by his brother Doug. Visitors will be welcomed at the J.F. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home 5784 Verdun Ave. Verdun on Saturday October 25 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. No viewing on Sunday. Funeral in the chapel on Monday October 27 at 1 p.m. Visitation as of 11 a.m. on Monday. We would especially like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of the I.C.U. 5th floor. Also a special thank you to Dr. Marc Corriveau and staff of the Vascular Department.
