Obituary of Robert-A. Lee


Robert "Bob" A. Lee Robert "Bob" A. Lee went to be with his Lord Saturday, December 29, 2007. Born in Lakeland, Florida, he graduated from Leon High school in Tallahassee. He received a bachelor's in music education and a master's in education from Florida State University. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was in the Army Band.He played the trombone in a dance band; he served Pryor middle school as choral director for seven years and was music supervisor in Okaloosa County from 1970 to 1985. In 1986, he established the General Education and Development Program at the Correctional School Authority and also distributed Bibles with Gideons.Bob was known for his kindness, gentleness and encouragement to his many music students. He was a modest man who loved the Lord and had a true servant's heart. Bob enjoyed golf, working in his garden and worshiping his heavenly father. Bob leaves behind his wife, Claire; a son, Robert Tison and wife Frances; a daughter, Rachel Eubanks and husband Thomas Schmiedel; grandchildren, Christian, Isabel, Anna Claire, Sophia, Aiden, Kai and Mirelle; and a brother, David Fulton and wife Judy.A special thanks to Covenant Hospice and Nytonya Spayde. A celebration of life will be held at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home (850-729-1955) on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at 3 p.m. CST.
