DAVIS, ROBERT A., 84, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and American General Insurance Company. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Davis. Survivors: wife, Betty M. Davis; children, Robert B. Davis, Carlen Hudson, Natalie Davis, Pamela Cousar, James Davis, Sue-Lin Davis, Johnny Davis, and Alpha Davis; 13 grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Sunday at A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St. Visitation is 2:30-6 p.m.
