Robbie Louise Griffin Smith-Wright - SAVANNAH - Robbie Louise Griffin Smith-Wright passed away on September 18, 2011 at Buckingham South. She was the youngest of four children born to Minister Robert D. Griffin, Jr. and his wife Georgia Mae on July 30, 1928, in Lumpkin County, Georgia. Her Siblings are brothers Harvey (deceased), William James (Newnan, Georgia) and sister Marie Griffin Robinson (Pensacola, Florida). She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Wright, daughter, Lynn (Ronald) Hamilton , son, Clarence Franklin (Rose) Smith II, seven grand children, and six great-grandchildren. She is currently a member of Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon, and a member of the M.G. Redd Circle. She was a founding member of the Gayettes Pinocle Club, a group of ladies that had been playing together for over fifty years. Robbie will be lovingly missed by her husband of 29 years, her children, grand-children, family and many friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, at Butler Presbyterian Church, September 24, 2011, with interment at Hillcrest Abbey, West.
