Obituary of Rita-V. Carter

Rita V. Carter, 79, of Okolona, died on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pappy" Carter; parents, Johnny and Ethel Rogers; and grandson, Timothy Carter. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Carter; sons, Bobby, Donnie, Steven and Timothy (Elizabeth) Carter; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph Rogers. Funreal services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday.
