->Davis, Rita TinoBinghamton: Rita Tino Davis, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph A. and Rose Versace Tino; grandparents, Patsy and Maria Versace; aunts, Josephine Spencer and Sally Cuzzacre; cousin, Marie Tino Shuba. Rita is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence (Larry) Davis; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Lawrence Davis, Jr., Arlington, VA, Jeffrey L. and Loriane Davis, Binghamton, Dr. Thomas H. and Kathleen Davis, Binghamton; brothers, Joseph and Dey Tino and son, Joe, Chester, NJ, Marcello and Lorraine Tino and son, Julian, Ithaca, NY; sister-in-law, Miriam Payes, Binghamton; grandchildren, Thomas H. Davis II, Binghamton, Lawrence J. Davis III (Tre'), Pensacola, FL, Jacob M. Davis, Pace, FL; step grandchildren, Christopher Chatt and Jeremy Chatt, Binghamton; great-grandchildren, Gannon Davis, Pensacola, FL, Madison Davis and Evan M. Davis, Pace, FL; nephews, Dr. William Payes, Binghamton, Mitchell Payes, Memphis, TN, Richard Payes, Rockville, MD; many nieces and nephews; cousins, Patrick Tino, Marlene Tino and Bennie Tino, Binghamton. Rita was a student and teacher of ballet and tap dancing. She attended Columbus School and graduated from Binghamton Central High School in 1948. She was employed and retired from General Electric Corp, Johnson City, NY. Rita loved cooking her marvelous Italian food for family and friends. Her home was a place that everyone migrated to and always felt loved and welcomed. She was very proud of her Italian heritage and she lovingly shared it with her family. Rita was also a true Yankees, Notre Dame, and Syracuse fan. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. The family would like to thank Patty Tabeek at Nouveau Hair Salon and Rita's friends for their love and support. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. John DiMenna and Debbie Hoy for their most wonderful care and efforts, the Ambulatory Infusion Center at Lourdes Hospital, Mona and Lisa in the Wound Care Center and all the sisters, nurses and aides in Seton 1, PVC and 1- West Hospice. Thank you for all your help and spiritual assistance. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, March 1, 2013, at 8:45 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson and continue at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. Memorial donations in Rita's memory may be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Danielle House or Lourdes Hospice.
