BARTELS, RITA MARY The death of Rita Mary Bartels of Minto, NB occurred Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Henry and Bella (Surette) Collette. Survived by two sons Louis Jr. Bartels (Karen) of Pennsylvania and Gary Bartels (Janice) of Hardwood Ridge, NB; a daughter Dorean Leet (Malcolm) of Minto, NB; a brother John Colette of Minto, NB; sisters Helen Gauthier of Mill Cove, NB, Jeannie Miller (Murray) of Minto, NB and Ida Hachey (Anthony) of Minto, NB; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by her husband Louis Sr. Bartels; sons, Arthur, Henry and Angus; a grandson; brothers, Edward and Gerald; sisters Eva Fasquel, Dorothy Fletcher, Marg Steeves and Lila McKiel. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 13th, 2005 at the Parker Memorial Chapel of the Minto Funeral Home with Rev. J. Cathcart officiating.
