Rita Joyce Frederick, 70, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was born in Grayson County and was the daughter of the late Artel and Eunice Gibson Miller.She was a restaurant cook and member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Kerr; and two brothers, Anford Miller and Jerry Miller.Rita is survived by four daughters, Sue Sullivan (Tony) of Upton, Lora Patterson (John) of Liberty, Gay Lanham (Joey) of Cecilia and Karen Butler (Curtis) of Bonnieville; 12 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Miller (Marilyn) of Clarkson; a sister, Helen Marlett (Ron) of Clarkson; and a daughter-in-law, Gayle Kerr of Sonora.The funeral is at noon CST Wednesday, March 5, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson with Brother Charlie Smith officiating. Burial follows in Gibson Cemetery.Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. CST Tuesday continues at 9 a.m. CST Wednesday at the funeral home.
