MCKINLEY, Rita A. (Née Richer) In loving memory of Rita A. McKinley (née Richer), 74 years of age who passed away Wednesday evening, July 9th, 2003 in the love and comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Rita A. Richer was born and raised in Capreol. She married Robert "Butch" McKinley in Capreol in 1960. She was a member of our Lady of Peace Church in Capreol. Rita worked for several years as a bartender and waitress for several businesses including the Hanmer Hotel and Riviera Dining Room in Capreol. She and Butch enjoyed spending winters in Florida but most of all Rita enjoyed opening her heart and home to all who visited her. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Loving wife of Robert "Butch" McKinley of Capreol. Dear stepmother of Shane Talbot (friend Karyn) of North Bay. Daughter of Wilfrid and Beatrice (nee Rose) Richer both predeceased. Beloved sister of Theresa (husband Andrew Dupuis) and Leona Hamilton both of Capreol and predeceased by Paul (wife Olive Richer of Hanmer), Suzanne Gray (husband Larry of Capreol), Estelle Robinette (husband Larry of New Mexico) and Constant Brunet. Will be sadly missed by the McKinley family and by several nieces and nephews. The family will honour her wishes of no visitation and no funeral. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. Private Committal prayers will be held at St. Jacques Cemetery, Hanmer. Donations to Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre, Lung Association or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
