Rickey Lee Carter, 48, died April 16, 2011, at his home. He grew up in Fort Lauderdale and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1989. He owned and operated Cool Grass Lawn Maintenance for 20 years. He volunteered for the local Little League as a manager, coach and umpire. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Linda K. Carter; son, Matthew R. Carter; daughter, Maxine S. Carter; mother, Judy A. Schupp; brothers, Edward Wookey, Thomas W. Carter and Joseph R. Carter III; and father, Joseph Randolph Carter Jr. Services: Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. April 23 at 453 S.W.
