Richard R. Rogers 1933 - 2013 WESTFIELD - Richard R. "Richie" Rogers, 79, a long time Westfield area resident, passed away on Monday, August 5th at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on October 20, 1933, a son of the late Henry L. and Molly E. (Lill) Rogers. He attended local schools and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War with the 1666 Med Co 75th Inf Regt. He was previously employed as a foreman at H.B. Smith, and a machinist at B.F. Perkins and Central Machine. In his free time Richie loved playing cards with his family. He is survived by his daughter; Cheryl Wagner and her husband Butch of Feeding Hills, two grandchildren; Carin and Erik and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his former wife Mary E. (Fish) Murphy. He was predeceased by his brother Donald and two sisters, Margaret Sienkiewicz, and Patricia Hannah.
