Richard P. Lee, born in 1950, spouse of Theresa Thompson, son of Edward and Donalda, father of Jessica, Julie, John and Eddie, died on January 11, 2009 at 59 years old.
Richard P. Lee MARLBOROUGH Richard P. "Hombre" Lee, 59, of Marlborough, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at his home, following an illness of many months. Born in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Edward and Donalda (Robert) Lee, and the husband of Theresa (Thompson) Lee of Marlborough, to whom he had been married for the past 33 years. Following his graduation from Marlborough High School in 1969, he opened Raunchy Richies Rollin Regal Roach Coach, which he owned and operated for the past 40 years in the Marlborough area. He was a member of the ImmaculateConception Parish, Marlborough, ITAM Club, the Elks Lodge, BPOE 959, Hudson, and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3565, Marlborough. He was fun-loving, happy, outgoing, and always ready with a joke. He had many friends who knew him as straightforward, and always the life of the party. He was an avid fan of Coors Light, the Red Sox and the Patriots. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Eddie Lee of Grafton, Ricky Lee and his wife, Julie,of Northborough; his daughter; Jessica Lee of Marlborough; his brother, James Lee and his partner, Goran Sparrman, of New Jersey; his sisters, Nancy Bradford and her husband, Brad, Pat Paquette, and Gerry Bell, all of Marlborough; his grandson, Brendon Lee; and his dog, Tara "Pookie"; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 16, at noon, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Visiting hours are Thursday, Jan. 15, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough.
