LEE _ Richard (Rick) John born March 6th, 1945 - Edmonton, passed away peacefully at home June 27th, 2003, surrounded by the love and support of his family and friends. He fought his cancer with courage, dignity and honour to the end. Predeceased by father Leslie Lee and stepfather Victor Hirst. He will be deeply and profoundly missed by his wife Terry; sons Tyler, Adam and Jordan; daughter Jenna; Mom Mildred; sisters Eleanor (Ed) and Susan; niece Shannon; and nephew Jason. Many thanks to Dr. Wasswa-Kintu, Dr. Thao Nguyen and Dr. D. Barwich, Surrey Palliative Care Team especially Home Care nurses Jackie, Nancy, Mavis, Ruth and Tess for the excellent care he received these last few months. Rick was a member of the APEGBC. A Memorial Service celebrating Rick's life will be held at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72nd Avenue, Surrey, BC, on Saturday, July 5th, 2003, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Surrey Palliative Care Program and/or The Centre for Integrated Healing, c/o Dr. Thao Nguyen.
