Richard Lee Taylor, 81, of Bonifay died July 6, 2009 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. He was born Dec. 13, 1927 in Black, Ala. to the late Herman and Lula Belle Paritt Taylor. In addition to his parents, the mother of his children, Gladys Merle Ward Taylor; his wife, Eleanor Carroll Taylor; grandson, Jacob Taylor and several brothers and sisters precede him in death. Survivors include three sons, Marty Taylor of Bonifay, Benny Taylor of Ponce de Leon, Lee Taylor of Dothan, Ala.; four daughters, Barbara Sasser and Margie Taylor, both of Chipley, Brenda Lewis of Bonifay, Cricket Worley of Graceville; three brothers, Bill Taylor, Hulon Taylor, Eugene Taylor all of Bonifay; one sister, Betty Sue Little of Bonifay; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services were held July 9 at Bethany Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Moore, Ed Barley and Buford Williams officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
