Richard Kiley WEYMOUTH Richard Kiley of Weymouth, loving and devoted husband to the late Norma (Lyons) Kiley, beloved father to Rosemary Kiley-Iacovino and her husband Frank of Pembroke, Kathy Murphy and her husband Arthur of Pembroke, Kevin Kiley and his wife Susan of Marshfield, cherished brother to his sister to Ruth Goodwin of Troy, Ohio, and his late brother Robert Kiley of Fall River, devoted grandfather to Kyle, Juliette, Patrick, Justin, Jeremy, Ryan, Joe, Colleen, Tim, and Will and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Richard died Wednesday at South Shore Hospital surrounded by his beloved children. "Dick" was a long time Weymouth resident retired from the U.S. Post Office. He spent 25 of his 37 years at the at the East Weymouth Post Office location. Dick was a loving, caring man dedicated to his wife. He stood by her during her long illness before she passed away. Dick spent his retirement years taking care of his grandchildren. "Pops" was loved and worshiped by his grandchildren. Dick thoroughly enjoyed classical music, books, historical novels, movie classics and he had an extensive library of music and literature. Richard will be greatly missed by his family. He spent the last two years of his life living with his children and enjoying the company of his grandchildren. Richard was a gentle soul with the patience of a saint. He gave unconditional love to all of his family and brought joy to all he touched. He will be dearly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service at McDonald Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, South Weymouth, Monday, September 28th at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Albert the Great Church, 1140 Washington Street, East Weymouth at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours 3-7 at McDonald Funeral Home, Sunday, September 27th.
