JOHNSON _ Richard Nixon "Nick" 1916 - 2002 "Nick" passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Friday, December 13, 2002 at the age of 86 years. He is now reunited with his loving wife and partner, Georgie, who passed away on October 18, 1988. Nick will be fondly remembered by his children, Bob (Verla) and Marg (Ron); grandchildren, Michelle (Gary), Kevin (Stacy) and Jody; great-grandchildren, Colby and Zane; and many friends and relatives. Nick was born in Calgary, and was proud of his career as a mechanic and shop foreman with the Calgary Transit. He was a Life Member of the Calgary Rock and Lapidary Club as well as a dedicated member of the Calgary Faceters' Guild. Nick was a practical joker who loved to travel. His summer trips hunting for fossils and gemstones brought him immense pleasure.
