RICHARD J. DAVIS - TITUSVILLE - Richard Joe Davis, 81, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Parrish Medical Center. Richard was born in Raleigh, NC. He graduated from NC State University, where he lettered in basketball and track. He was a veteran and served with both the U.S. Navy during World War II, and the Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Captain. He worked for NASA at Kennedy Space Center from 1964 to 1988. Richard was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Titusville. Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; his son, Steve Davis of Boca Ra ton, FL; his daughter, Sharon Lundberg and her husband, David of Longwood; grand daughters, Lauren and Brooke Lundberg, and his brother, Myron Davis of Boca Raton. He loved being a grandfather and has been such a blessing to each of his family members.
