RICHARD DAVIS MICHIGAN CITY, IN Richard Davis, 78, of Michigan City, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born December 17, 1935 in Hammond to Lee and Helen Davis. Richard is survived by his children: Richard Earl (Diane) Davis, Gary Lee (Julie) Davis, Lori Ann (Gerald) Brunner, and Karen Jo (Larry) Sheets; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Helen Lator; and ex-wife JoAnna Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Norma Cole; and brother, Jon. Richard was a retired steel worker from Bethlehem Steel. He was a U.S. Army paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne when he was in the service. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso.
