LEE, RICHARD ARTHUR, 68 Ocala - A Miami native, Mr. Lee passed away July 25, 2006 after a 5 month battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife: Frances Blakely Lee of Ocala; daughters: Diane Lee Alonso and Deborah Jean Lee-Bowers; son-in-laws: Jose' Alonso and Nathan Bowers; Grandchildren: Brandon Alonso, and April Alonso all of Ocala. Mr. Lee owned and operated Richard's Place Restaurant since 1984. He and his wife own Gatewood Arabians in Ocala. He was a 1955 graduate of Miami Jackson High where he served as Drum Major. He was also Drum Major for the University of Florida band in 1956 and 1957. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Marion County.
